a couple quick sketches from tonight.

since i have opened up a design studio full time, i don’t have much need for a personal portfolio anymore. instead, i’ve focused my attention on the illustrations and experiments contained within my sketchbook. all of the works pull directly from my flickr page since that seems to be the most convenient for me these days. www.joncontino.com!

i took a death metal approach for this logo. they’re very cliche for the style of music, but i’ve always been very intrigued by the complexity of these designs. it’s not too often that i get to do a project like this and i enjoyed it very much.
